Spektrum - Marietta Kruger - Newsreader - Parliament`s standing committee on finance welcomed the suspension of the commissioner of the South African Revenue Service, Tom Moyane. The committee now asks that a council be created to supervise the collection of taxes. Other members of the committee have asked for better mechanisms to keep the Revenue Service responsible in Parliament. Mark Kingon has since been appointed acting SARS commissioner.
